What makes Portrait Photography by Lords so special?

Lords are one of the highest award winning studios in the country. We believe our photography is truly beyond the ordinary and thousands of happy clients prove we’re on the right track.

Unlike some franchise studios, all the images displayed on our website and in the studio were taken by resident photographers Steven Lord and Juliette Gaffney and are typical of our work.

We believe that by showing you our portfolio you’ll be confident that the portraits you want can, and will be, expertly and beautifully created exclusively for you.

We can give you this reassurance because we are a family owned studio offering a highly personal service. We know what makes portraiture truly great. We believe we are unique in that all our portraits are digitally hand printed and craftsman framed in our own bespoke workshop. All work is completed by hand using the finest archival materials.

Gallery Portraits

Ideal for wall hanging, our custom framed Gallery Portraits are a popular choice with customers and they have evolved in style over the years. Interiors have changed and so too have our clients tastes. Our work is truly custom framed. We don’t just stock a few “readymade” frame ranges – we have access to an entire bespoke workshop and each item is made to order. We choose the very best styles to compliment our work and to suit every style of interior. We can change mouldings and add additional mounts for a real wow factor. Or we can keep the framing simple and understated. These range in price from £179 to £999

Canvas Wrap Portraits

Our recently introduced, beautiful canvas frameless portraits have been very popular with our clients. Graphic and simple, they look amazing in any interior and they really bring a different dimension to your portraits. These range in price from £399 to £899.

Ikon Frames and Acrylics

Absolutely unique! Our latest creations are bang up to date.

The Ikon range is great for the designer home.

By sandwiching the image in a double layer glass mount with a surrounding frame, the image appears to float on the wall.

Our Acrylic range is once again aimed at the design conscious client who’s home is modern in style.

The portrait is heat laminated onto acrylic sheet, which floats above a frosted acrylic backing.

Collection Portraits

A collection of portraits in a single frame offering a contemporary display of your favourite images.

All our collections are uniquely designed to suit your images so all sizes and combinations are variable.

Digitally art worked and Giclée printed using archival grade materials throughout. Collection portraits are presented in a bespoke frame with coordinated hand made mount.

Gift Portraits

Gift sized portraits in smart frames. These range in price from £79 to £299, come in three popular sizes and make ideal gifts.
